Pleasanton, CA – Wood Rodgers, Inc. is proud to announce the expansion of our Transportation Group in the East Bay with the recent hire of Brian Krcelic. Brian brings over 35 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of major transportation improvement projects in California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
Well-versed in Caltrans project development procedures, he has managed numerous transportation projects including the design of Expressway and Conventional Highway improvements, freeway interchanges, HOV and Auxiliary Lanes, sound barriers, drainage improvements, and various types of structures. He has also completed numerous transportation projects for local agencies including street extensions, street widening, complete streets and traffic calming improvements, corridor safety studies, Safe Routes to School and ADA improvement projects, and street rehabilitation projects including full reconstruction and various types of pavement overlays and treatments.
Some of the more unique transportation projects that Brain has managed include design of the Bus Storage Facility portion of the new Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco, serving as BART staff assisting on their Earthquake Safety Program where he was coordinating the seismic retrofit for seven Bart Stations, the planning and design of terminal access improvement projects for the Washington State Ferry System, and serving as Deputy Project Manager on the Terminal 18 Design Build project for the Port of Seattle where he was responsible for quality assurance and quality control of the new container terminal design.
