WATER SUPPLY, WATER TREATMENT AND DISTRIBUTION

Deep knowledge of groundwater analyses and well design, treatment (constituent removal), and distribution including pump stations, booster stations, storage tanks, and piping systems.

HYDROLOGIC AND HYDRAULIC ANALYSES

Provide watershed analyses, rainfall distribution, dynamic flow routing, and floodplain mapping; 1, 2, and 3-dimensional numerical river and stream modeling; site drainage analyses and municipal storm drainage master planning.

FLOOD AND DRAINAGE INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN

We design conveyance channels, pipelines, pump stations, detention basins, floodwalls, levees, and hydraulic structures.

Project Case Study

RIVERINE LEVEE CERTIFICATIONS AND SHORELINE LEVEE DESIGN

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

Wood Rodgers is providing certification of four riverine levees totaling 22 miles and design of two new shoreline levees totaling six miles for the Alameda County Flood Control & Water Conservation District. Extensive coordination with FEMA was required for these efforts as well as close coordination with the US Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) Geotechnical and Environmental Permitting Groups. Wood Rodgers also submitted three successful DWR FloodSAFE California Local Levee Evaluation (LOLE) grant applications on behalf of the District.
